What is Listed by Lawyer?
Listed by Lawyer is a Florida based licensed Real Estate Brokerage, that is backed by Florida real estate attorneys. We offer a hybrid approach to selling your property where you enjoy the same exposure for your property to buyers but pay only a fraction of the cost of listing your property with a traditional real estate brokerage.
Is Listed by Lawyer my attorney?
Listed by Lawyer is not a law firm and is not your attorney. As part of your engagement with Listed by Lawyer, you benefit from the knowledge of experienced real estate brokers and attorneys, but you do not have an attorney client relationship with any firm or attorney.
Who pays closing costs, Buyer or Seller?
It is customary for Sellers to pay transfer taxes on the deed and for the owner’s title insurance policy. Buyers pay for the costs associated with their loan and any prepaid items their lender (if any) requires.
How does Listed by Lawyer work?
Once you become a client of Listed by Lawyer, you will receive all the essential tools needed to get your property listed and sold. Our unique step-by-step process will help you sell your home in the most efficient and quickest manner, ultimately saving you thousands of dollars.
Will my property get exposure to potential buyers?
Yes, as part of the Listed by Lawyer engagement, we place your listing into the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) so that you get maximum exposure to buyers and buyer agents. As part of being placed into the MLS you are also placed on real estate sites such as Realtor.com, Zillow and thousands of others.
Do I have to pay any commissions?
You are not required to pay any commissions as part of your sale, but we typically recommend offering a Buyer’s agent 2-3% as an incentive to bring a qualified buyer to purchase your property.
Am I provided paperwork for the sale of my property?
Yes, Listed by Lawyer provides you all of the paperwork you need to complete your sales transaction. As part of your engagement of Listed by Lawyer, you can also receive guidance on the transaction and paperwork.
What happens if I have questions during the transaction?
As part of your engagement with Listed by Lawyer, you can also receive guidance on the transaction and paperwork, including support from our real estate Brokers and legal team.
